Medil AI: Understand Your Treatment and See the Full Picture
Medications, supplements, reminders, adherence, and health measures in one clear diary
Medil AI — understand your treatment and see the full picture
As a physician, I repeatedly meet patients who do not fully understand their treatment and sometimes struggle to follow it. This is usually not a lack of motivation. When treatment is complex, information is scattered, and people cannot clearly see how medications relate to their blood pressure, glucose levels, or everyday wellbeing, long-term adherence becomes difficult.
I developed Medil AI to address this gap. It is a simple personal diary that brings medications, health supplements, and health measures together in one place. The goal is to help patients and families understand the treatment plan, remember it, and follow its effects over time.
What can you do with Medil AI?
• Scan a prescription and add medications easily.
• Set reminders for medications and health supplements.
• Confirm each dose and see what was taken and when.
• Follow medication adherence over time.
• Access current medication information and official patient leaflets.
• Read medication information in clear, accessible language with the help of AI tools.
• Use one easy-to-follow diary with calendar and chart views.
Treatment and health measures in the same diary
Alongside medication and supplement intake, Medil AI can bring together health outcomes such as blood pressure, glucose, pulse, and aerobic activity. Automatic synchronization with Google Health Connect and Apple HealthKit helps users view treatment, activity, and health trends in context instead of spreading the information across several apps and notebooks.
New opportunities enabled by AI
AI opens new ways to make medical information more accessible. It can help explain medication information in language that ordinary users can understand and help people navigate their treatment and the health data they collect. The aim is not to replace a physician or pharmacist. It is to help patients arrive at those conversations better informed, better prepared, and able to show an organized record of their treatment and health trends.

How it began
I first developed the app as a medical student because I needed fast, reliable medication information during clinical rotations. The original version was an offline medication index that went on to serve thousands of healthcare professionals and other users.
More recently, I used AI-assisted development tools to rebuild the app and add the capabilities I consider important as a physician: medication management, reminders, adherence tracking, accessible information, and integrated monitoring of health outcomes. The project that began during medical school has now evolved into Medil AI.
Medil AI does not replace medical advice. Treatment instructions and doses should always be verified with a physician, pharmacist, and authoritative sources.
